My favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe dates back at least 25 years ago and supposedly the origin of this delicious cookie was Mrs. Fields, who had stores here in Atlanta for a long time. She is still in business with expanded franchises, but after looking her up online, I’ve seen that she says that the chocolate chip cookie chain letter than many of us came across back in the late 80’s was in fact, not her recipe. Well, I’ve been baking these cookies since the first time I came across the recipe and it remains my favorite today.
